Global SDGs & Leadership Development Center
The Global SDGs and Leadership Development Center (the “SDGs Center”) is an independent research and capacity-building institution advancing the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Originally established as a UNITAR-affiliated center jointly initiated by UNITAR and the Global Youth Leadership Development Council (GYLDC), it has evolved into an independent platform for international cooperation, with hubs in Geneva, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, and Nairobi.
The Center focuses on translating global agendas into practice, localizing the SDGs, and integrating digital transformation with sustainable development. Its work spans AI governance, the digital economy, climate action, sustainable finance, urban resilience, and social innovation, in collaboration with organizations including ITU, ITC, and UNIDO.
