2024 Activity Highlights
April 14-16, 2024 – We offered five youth delegates from China the opportunity to attend the 14th session of the IRENA Assembly and Youth Forum in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
April 25-29, 2024 – During the Zhongguancun (ZGC) Forum in Beijing, we partnered with the World Green Design Organization (WGDO) to offer an international volunteering experience to 16 youths from China, Cameroon, Panama, Pakistan, Thailand, and Nigeria.
June 20-22, 2024 – GYLDC became an institutional member of the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS) and participated in the 37th Annual Meetings of ACUNS held at the United Nations University (UNU) and the University of Tokyo in Japan.
Roundtable discussion organized by GYLDC on the theme: “The Integration of Green Skills and Training for Advancing Innovation in Green Development: The Role and Perspectives from the Academic Community,” held at the University of Tokyo.

Education & Knowledge Exchange Program: Visit and working session with the United Nations University (UNU) Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), in Tokyo.
Education & Knowledge Exchange Program: Visit and working session with the Tokyo Gakugei University International Secondary School, in Tokyo. Currently having a pilot program with UNESCO on the development of global leaders via science education.
Education & Knowledge Exchange Program: Visit and working session with the Kyorin University, in Tokyo. Offering cutting-edge teaching standards and facilities for scholars in social and medical sciences.
