Key Highlights for 2023
- Held 4 training sessions with participants from over 20 domestic and international universities.
- The International Organizations Career Development Training Program is designed based on real needs of projects from government departments, multilateral government organizations, international non-governmental organizations, and international research think tanks. The training and practice tasks are conducted through mentor-led, project-based, and group-participatory interactive learning and project practice. It helps participants build a comprehensive knowledge framework of global governance, familiarize themselves with the operational mechanisms of international organizations, understand international human resource management, and grasp career development paths within international organizations.
- Organized 7 Young Leader International Dialogues (in Geneva, Bangkok, Deyang, Changsha, Dubai), with youth representatives from over 30 countries across five continents.
- The “Young Leader International Dialogues” are supported by the United Nations Youth Leadership Program and its partners. China Youth Pioneers, together with international young leaders who have participated in the leadership program globally, engage in equal dialogue and exchange of ideas with peers, experts from international organizations (bilateral and multilateral), NGOs, and the private and academic sectors. The discussions focus on global hot topics such as climate change and green development. These dialogues foster mutual learning, promote consensus on development, and inspire cross-sector cooperation and innovation, with the goal of driving a green future through youth actions.
- Collaborated with 15 international organizations to carry out various activities.
- Through seminars, research participation, and field investigations, participants gained in-depth understanding of the role international organizations play in global governance. They also explored pathways for youth involvement in global governance through direct dialogues.
