🌍 Internship Opportunity: Communication & Research Intern
The Global SDGs and Leadership Development Center (GSLDC), a UNITAR-affiliated SDGs Singapore Center, is inviting applications for the Communication & Research Intern position.
We are seeking a motivated individual passionate about sustainable development, research, and international collaboration to join our global team.
📌 Role Overview
- Location: Remote / Online
- Working Hours: 15 hours per week (flexible, Monday to Friday)
- Duration: 3 months (extendable to 6 months)
- Language Requirement: English proficient (basic Chinese is a plus)
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and formatting of promotional materials, reports, and publications (including annual report production)
- Assist in typesetting, proofreading, and visual layout of documents, brochures, and presentations
- Conduct research on SDGs, global youth development, and international policy trends
- Support project proposal drafting, partnership plans, and funding applications
- Perform market and stakeholder research (partners, universities, youth organizations)
- Create research summaries, briefs, and maintain documentation archives
- Assist with international conference preparation, youth engagement, and communications support
🎯 Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or above (postgraduate preferred) in communications, international relations, sustainable development, or related fields
- Strong English communication, writing, and research skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus
- Proactive, responsible, and interested in SDGs and global youth development
