On October 29, 2025, the”New Opportunities in AI” parallel session of the 2nd International Cooperation and Development Conference for Young Entrepreneurssuccessfully convened at Anji Convention and Exhibition Center (Zhejiang). As one of the core organizers, theGlobal SDGs and Leadership Development Centerpartnered with Dunola Oladapo, Youth Programme Officer of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), to host the session, gathering global young entrepreneurs and professionals to align AI innovation with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At 09:30 a.m., the session opened with thelaunch of the Global Young Entrepreneurs’ Digital Innovation Case Study Program (and case collection), initiated by the Global SDGs and Leadership Development Center, China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) and International Trade Centre (ITC). The program aims to showcase youth-led AI-driven sustainable practices globally, marking a collaborative step to connect young innovators with SDG-aligned resources.

The session focused on two SDG-linked themes: “AI Empowering Industrial Development & International Cooperation”and “AI-Driven Green Consumption”.In the first theme,Dunola Oladapodelivered a keynote speech from the ITU’s perspective, exploring how AI can bridge global youth entrepreneurship with inclusive, sustainable industrial growth, which aligns with the center’s mission to empower youth-led SDG action. Other Industry experts also shared perspectives on leveraging international institutional support for AI-driven youth ventures.

Dunola Oladapopresided over the roundtable discussion and youth entrepreneur sharing session. The Global SDGs and Leadership Development Center facilitated exchanges among young representatives from multiple countries, who shared AI-focused startup practices tied to SDGs. The center’s involvement ensured the dialogue stayed rooted in sustainable development priorities, with Dunola guiding discussions on cross-border collaboration opportunities.

This session underscored theGlobal SDGs and Leadership Development Center’srole in convening stakeholders to link AI innovation with SDGs, with partner’s expertise amplifying the session’s global reach. Moving forward, the center will continue partnering with expertise partners to expand platforms for youth entrepreneurs, turning AI potential into tangible sustainable impact.
